An alternative to the Redecker Pot brush, these white teakwood handled dish washing brushes are ideal for general dish washing.
Each brush can be used for 1-6 months. We suggest treating the wood with a good quality, food grade, wood wax and don't leave it soaking in water to keep it lasting as long as possible. To disinfect, mix vinegar and water in a shallow bowl (enough to cover the bristles) and let sit for 20-30 minutes.
Once worn out, the entire brush can be composted.
Note: Worried about teak being endangered? The species of teak used in these brushes is a different one called, White Teakwood. It is a very fast-growing species (similar to bamboo) and even considered a weed in some countries because it grows so fast.
