Meet Pact Collective. The first not-for-profit collection program for the beauty industry, by the beauty industry.
They collect hard-to-recycle packaging, find the best and highest use for the material, and prioritize getting the materials back into consumer packaging or durable goods over downcycling or chemical recycling.
We've joined up with Routine to support Pact in moving the beauty industry toward zero-waste-to-landfill, and towards circularity.

Despite being filled with cleaner ingredients, the vast majority of beauty product packaging will not be refilled or recycled. They will end up in landfills, incinerators, or the ocean.
This has to change.
